Leadership

 Jake's leadership style (see Background) is driven by collaboration with a focus on achieving a unified goal. He believes teams need a leader who has a clear focus and vision on what objectives need to be met, and to keep the team focused on what needs to be done to succeed. His style of leadership is casual and fun yet driven by obtaining results. Understanding what drives people and assigning them tasks that lean into their strengths is the key to fostering a good team environment.  

• Opened up his own office for Elosophy, and hired/managed close to 30 sales representatives to sell his services
• Raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and worked directly with shareholders to build his vision
• Developed 6 total departments within a startup and managed 15 direct reports in his tenure at this client
• Grew Mylai to be one of the "12 Startups to Watch" in the Cincinnati Area
